Giancarlo Lanza (Napoli)

Giancarlo Lanza has been a club promoter in Napoli since the early 1990s. He began studying sound design and got a specialist certificate "music production using cubase" in 1999, and he currently works for backline, Ableton's Italian distributor, as a product specialist. He trains Ableton schools and certified trainers in Italy and runs Live workshops for festivals. Giancarlo is also an endorser for the Allen & Heath "xone" series and a specialist for Celemony Melodyne.

Since 2008, Giancarlo has taught at SAE institute in Milan, offering courses and advanced workshops on Ableton Live. He owns Titbit Music, together with D.squillace. He is interested in all new technologies, hardware and software, and he regularly builds and develops his own patches with modular synths such as Max/MSP, Reaktor and Ableton racks.

Giancarlo prefers live performances over simple DJ sets, and in his own Live sets, he combines all the work experiences and musical background that have inspired him so far...
